SpaceX’s Rise To Become A Leader In Technology
According to a report by Business Insider, Elon Musk started SpaceX in 2002 with just a small staff and an empty office in Los Angeles. Now, the rocket company employs over 5,000 people, has received nearly 1.6 billion-dollars in funding, and is increasingly making strides in the space industry. The company is also reportedly developing the most expansive satellite network in history, while also developing spaceships capable of transporting 100 people to Mars at a time. To accomplish all of these lofty goals, the company is investing millions in remodeling and building new facilities all over America. SpaceX is now operating out of both the west and east coast, and operates on three sites in Texas.
